In January 2018 Vritti Ramnarine of Swaha Hindu College was selected as one of 20 winners out of 94 entries from primary, secondary and special schools for Powergen’s Schools’ Art Competition 2017. The theme was “There’s No Place Like T&T”.
In addition to the school and Vritti receiving cash prizes, Vritti will be publicly recognised by having her work displayed at Powergen’s plant on Wrightson Road, Port of Spain and other Powergen facilities.
