Swaha Hindu College’s talented students once again celebrated their success at the Secondary Schools’ Sanskritik Sangam competition. This competition is held annually and provides a forum for expression for Indian cultural groups in Trinidad and Tobago’s secondary schools. Schools from all over the country take part in religious quizzes, art and craft, storytelling and many other art forms. The finals took place at La Romaine Secondary School and the students’ hard work and commitment paid off. The results were as follows:
Ramayan: 1st place – Roshni Kalloo, Amara Roodal and Xala Pacheco
Art: 2nd place: Asia Cooper, Form 3 Shanti
Essay: 3rd place: Sangeeta Santokee, Form 3 OM
Poetry (Intermediate Category): 3rd place: Gabriella Ross, Form 5 Shanti
Poetry (Senior Category): 3rd place: Mae-Ana David, Form Lower 6
