Hanumanji is undoubtedly one of most versatile characters of the great Ramayan epic and a perfect servant of God and humanity. He is not considered to be merely a monkey but the incarnation of the Almighty Bhagavan Shivaji.
We, the youth, see Hanumanji as an exemplar in our lives, one who has strength and great determination to succeed in every task given to Him. He is renowned for the portrayal of his loyalty to Shri Raam. The present generation can take heed of this and apply it by remaining loyal in our jobs, responsibilities, spouses, friends, family, employees and so on.
In today’s society, many complain about life and its unfairness to them. Hence, some turn to suicidal thoughts and violence as being the only way out of their problems or struggles. However, we can look up to Shri Hanumanji and follow in his footsteps of being courageous, mentally disciplined and powerful at heart. We need to exhibit the discipline of the Lord in the challenges that come our way on a daily basis. Not once should we ever think of surrender.
Hanumanji burst open his chest to show the world that the Lord resides within. Can any of us burst open our chests to show the Lord within? Although we can’t see the actual being of Lord Hanuman, we know that he does exist in this age of Kalyug; something upon which we can all ponder.
We, the youth, need to be unwavering and devoted to our religion, just as Lord Hanuman was devoted to His Master Shri Raam with a strong mind and will. Great devotion to God brings great rewards!
