Swaha’s Pt. Kavish Persad and Vaishnavi Persad were among the top 200 achievers in the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) examination 2018 and were acknowledged by the Minister of Education, the Honourable Anthony Garcia, at the Ministry of Education’s Celebrating Future Leaders Awards.
Pt. Kavish Persad is the son of Pt. Maniedeo Persad & Mrs. Rohini Persad and grandson of the founder of SWAHA, the late Shankaracharya, Pt. Hari Prasad & Mrs. Chandrawti Prasad. He is a Pundit-in-training with SWAHA Sri Raam Dhaam and a student of Hillview College.
Vaishnavi Persad is the daughter of Pt. Dr. Umesh Persad & Mrs. Aarti Persad, and the granddaughter of the Spiritual Head of SWAHA, His Holiness Paramacharya Pt. Hardeo Persad & Mrs. Bhanmatie Persad. She is a member of SWAHA Gyaan Deepak Kirtan Mandali and a student of St. Augustine Girls’ High School. Both pupils attended the Gandhi Memorial Vedic School, Aranguez.
